Home: About

Design is in my blood. My grandfather and father were both architects. I grew up playing around on jobsites, watching my father draft at his table at home, and proudly inspecting his finished projects. When I was little, I learned the basics from my dad, grabbed some graph paper, a scale and my pencil and got to work designing my future dream homes. I would spend hours drafting them. One had a special round tower reading nook, one had a spiral stair off the master bedroom that lead downstairs to a secret library, one had a second floor bridge walkway that led to the bedrooms. My creative side was yearning to come out, whether it was drawing floor plans, rearranging the furniture in my room, or sketching. I believe I was destined to do what I do. I went to art school, graduated at the top of my class, and then went on to work at top LA design firms, where I managed some of the most highly coveted projects. I moved back east, to NYC (and later Montclair), and do more of the same; doing what I love, for wonderful people. I have worked in the industry for over 20 years, on both coasts, in between, as well as overseas.
